Optical Thin Film Coating
Optical coating refers to a process of plating a layer (or layers) of a metal (or dielectric) film on the surface of an optical component. The purpose of coating the surface of optical parts is to reduce or increase the requirements of light reflection, splitting, color separation, filtering, polarization, etc. Commonly used coating methods are vacuum coating (a type of physical coating) and electroless plating. We provide a broad range of optical coating services. The coating can be applied to optics having various shapes and sizes with either plano or curved surfaces.
